About Tallong Park
Tallong Park is a unique residential estate next to the Tallong township in the Southern Highlands of NSW, 2 hours south of Sydney and about 1 hour 30 north east of Canberra. The estate has 171 large residential blocks from 1.2 to 4 hectares (3 to 10 acres) that offers a comfortable rural lifestyle with great facilities that blend harmoniously with a peaceful bushland environment.
The original developer Ken Parkinson had the vision to create a place that was residential but with a distinctive rural flavour. In the late 1980s he started realising his dream that lead to an estate where the public lands are co-owned by all residents. It is administered by a Management Committee elected annually by the members of the Association which is incorporated. Residents are encouraged to make suggestions and give feedback at the monthly Management Committee meetings.
Just 7-kms from the Hume Highway, along Highland Way, Tallong Park is convenient to get to. The nearest major town of Goulburn is about 30-minutes away and Moss Vale is about a 40-minutes’ drive. Wingello, Penrose, Bundanoon and Exeter are popular villages along the picturesque back road to Moss Vale. Trains and buses that go north to Sydney or south to Goulburn and Canberra stop at the Tallong railway station a few times a day.
Stay active and relax with the many private facilities, like taking a picnic at the two lakes, walking along lovely bush-lined trails, playing golf at an 18-tee 9-hole golf, swimming in the indoor heated swimming pool or hitting a ball on an all-weather tennis court.
Enjoy life with the other residents who call the estate home.
